At the Law Office of Burton J. Green we strive to be consistent and transparent in the setting of attorneyÂ’s fees for our services. The determination of a reasonable attorneyÂ’s fee for any service provided to a client utilizes many different factors. This is especially true when the nature of the representation is for complicated, non-routine types of situations or cases.
In determining reasonable attorney fees it is normal to consider such factors as: the time and labor required, the novelty and difficulty of the question involved, and the skill requisite to perform the legal service properly.Thethe likelihood, if apparent to the client, that the acceptance of the particular employment will preclude other employment by the lawyer, The fee customarily charged in the locality for similar legal services, (4) the amount involved and the results obtained, the time limitations imposed by the client or by the circumstances, the nature and length of the professional relationship with the client, the experience, reputation, and ability of the lawyer or lawyers performing the services, and whether the fee is fixed or contingent. The fee for situations involving these factors will almost always be the subject of preliminary discussions with you prior to your retaining this office for representation. My services are billed at a $200.00 per hour rate when the representation is to be billed by the hour. Paralegal services are billed at $60.00 per hour.
I have found, however, that many types of legal services provided are fairly routine and the attorney and office time involved is fairly predictable and consistent from case to case. For such routine services I believe that a standard flat fee is particularly appropriate. Below are some basic standard fees that this office charges for such representation. You can expect that you will be charged according to this schedule for the services listed. These charges do not include filing fees or costs, which will always be additional to the attorneyÂ’s fee charged.
